I am a recovering laboratory scientist. I have a graduate level education and am a cog in the giant federal government machine. I have lived in Rockville, MD for more than 5 years but am originally from Virginia Beach, VA. I moved up to this area to do a fellowship at NIH and now have a career as a reviewer at the FDA. I am very laid back and enjoy going out with friends and having a good time. One of the first things that I did when I moved here was joined a kickball league to meet people. I still play and now have met many people. I have a dry sarcastic sense of humor, but love to laugh and would much rather see a comedy than a drama or horror.

I am looking for someone who I could be friends with first and possibly have it progress from there. If sparks fly so be it but I usually try not to force the issue. I do not care about age, but personality is important and I want to be able to be friends before I try to date seriously. I want someone who likes to have fun!
